- The uterus is a female reproductive organ that is where the baby develops. Also known as the uterus, the main inverted pear-shaped muscular organ of the female reproductive system is located between the bladder and the rectum, the rectum.
- Health experts say that if women pay attention to the early signs of uterine cancer, their chances of survival increase dramatically.
- Uterine or ovarian cancer is called a 'silent killer because, by the time the cancer is detected, it has spread throughout the body.
- The chances of survival in this cancer are very low. Only thirty percent of people who get this disease survive for five years.
- Experts say that the symptoms of this disease are clear, the only need is to recognize them.
50 Years Old Women Suffering from Uterine Cancer
A 50-year-old woman in the UK is suffering from this disease. He says that you should pay attention to the changes in your body.
She says that twenty years ago she found out that she had cancer in her uterus. Before that, she had constant stomach pains and often felt tired. At first, she thought that she was feeling this way because of overwork.
After contacting the doctor, it was found that he has cancer and it has spread a lot and he will have an operation. They say that if they had known the symptoms of ovarian cysts, they would have started treatment earlier, but still, they were lucky and got better treatment and they are alive to tell it all.
After treatment, the woman improved her lifestyle, starting a proper balanced diet and exercising.
But after some time he started complaining of constant stomach upset, tiredness, weight loss, and abdominal pain.
On contacting the doctor, his blood was tested and it was found that his disease had returned and he had a large lump in his perineum (below the navel). She was unable to understand this because she did not have a uterus yet. However, the doctors said that there was definitely a cell left in his body and it continued to grow over time.
He says that now he will have chemotherapy and the tumor may not disappear completely but the treatment will help to stop the tumor from growing.
Thus, uterine cancer comes as a silent death, but if attention is paid, endometrial cancer symptoms can be felt a year earlier.
Symptoms of Uterine Cancer/Ovarian Cancer
- The most common symptom or sign of uterine cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding. These include menstrual changes (heavier periods, periods that last longer, or periods that are more frequent than usual), bleeding between periods, post-menopausal bleeding, or spotting.
- Abdominal pain is common in women during their periods, but if it lasts for more than 3 weeks, and older women also experience it, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
- Any lump on the abdomen that has appeared and remains in place for more than three weeks is an indication of the presence of tumors in that area.
- A sudden and unexplained loss of appetite can indicate many problems, but it can also be a symptom of uterine cancer.
- Some of these ovarian cancer symptoms are also considered to be gastric symptoms, however, if you have not experienced these symptoms before, you need to pay attention to them and consult a doctor immediately.
The goal is not to scare anyone, just to raise awareness.
